Tour for Humanity

Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center is developing the Tour for Humanity. Our vision is to create a fully accessible, state-of-the-art technological mobile Tolerance Educational Center. The Tour for Humanity will educate students, community leaders, community participants and professionals on topics of diversity, democracy and Canadian civic rights and responsibilities as well as the effects and consequences of hate when it is left unchecked.
Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center thanks the Ontario Trillium Foundation for its generous contribution to begin this project.  The Ontario Trillium Foundation is an agency of the Government of Ontario.

CREATING A LIFE-CHANGING EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE

FSWC is at the forefront of diversity education in Toronto…

With more than 10,000 students from boards of education within and surrounding the Greater Toronto Area attending our programming annually, Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies is  leading the way in equity and diversity education.

… now it’s time to take the message province-wide.

Our vision is to build the Tour for Humanity to inspire tens of thousands of Ontarians year-round,  reaching out to small communities with the message of tolerance, hope and empowerment.  The Tour will answer the needs of small communities seeking a means of teaching diversity in an effective and meaningful manner.  The advanced technology and vast array of content will engage participants and leave them feeling they have the power to effect positive change.
